How to Make a Ginger Lynchburg Lemonade

A ginger Lynchburg lemonade is a simple twist on a classic cocktail, replacing triple sec with ginger liqueur. Ginger Lynchburg lemonades can be served on a variety of occasions, and work well for both elegant meals, served before or after dinner, or for outdoor barbeques and summer pool parties. You can even make batches of ginger Lynchburg lemonade and keep the drinks in large pitchers on ice or in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve them. Add this to my Recipe Box.

Instructions

    1

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with crushed ice.

    2

Add the Kentucky bourbon, ginger liqueur, lemon juice and lemon simple syrup. Cover the cocktail shaker and shake for 15 to 20 seconds to combine the ingredients.

    3

Strain the ginger Lynchburg lemonades into highball glasses half-filled with fresh ice cubes.

    4

Add lemon-lime soda to fill the glasses. Garnish with lemon wedges and serve immediately while cold.
