The best diet plan is one that offers results quickly with as little effort as possible. There are two main ways to do this: eat a prepackaged menu or eat nothing. The Master Cleanse is a great way to lose weight as it is super simple, you consume the same thing everyday and it's very low calories so it acts quickly. The other plan is to eat prepackaged food from a menu provided for you.

Master Cleanse

    One of the most popular liquid is the Master Cleanse. This diet has been around since the 1970 but is still considered a fad by many people. It has gotten a lot of attention as many stars, like Beyonce, have used it for rapid weight loss as well as detoxing.

    The protocol for the Master Cleanse is as follows. Everyday of the cleanse you limit your intake to 1,200 calories that are consumed from a lemonade mixture. The lemonade is made from lemon juice and maple syrup mixed with a pinch of cayenne pepper in two liters of water. This drink is all you will consume over the 10-day period. As well as limiting your diet you also drink a laxative tea or a saltwater flush that helps wash out your colon. After 10 days of this combination of diet and flushing you eliminate all residual waste from you colon. The secondary effect of this diet is that you are also completely cutting out other substances, like caffeine and alcohol.

Nutrisystem

    Nutrisystem is another popular diet that takes much of the guesswork out of dieting. They provide you with a daily menu that will supposedly make you lose weight. The diet is designed to have you eating a set number of calories a day over several predetermined meals. They send you the food and the menu, so literally all you have to do is eat what they say when they say to. Most of the food does not require refrigeration, making it easy to bring with you.

Jenny Craig

    Jenny Craig is another easy-to-follow diet plan that incorporates a prepackaged diet foods with foods you buy and prepare yourself. They outline a menu that you need to comply to lose the weight. As you move through the program you are encouraged to cook more of your own foods, which can make it a little harder to comply fully if your schedule does not allow much time to shop and cook.
