Cleanse With Cranberry, Orange & Lemon Juice

Cranberry, orange and lemon are high in fiber and important antioxidants needed for assisting the liver with flushing impurities and stored wastes from your body. With the aide of these fruit juices, a combination known as a liver cleanse, you can help support your liver with its elimination of toxins and keep your organ in good health.

Liver Cleansing Diet

The liver is your body's main detoxifying agent. Its job is to free your body of the poisons you are exposed to every day. It also supports your digestive system, controls your blood sugar, and if you're a woman, keeps your menstrual cycle running smoothly. Since your liver is the organ that removes estrogen, a weak liver that fails to remove them efficiently will allow estrogen to accumulate in all parts of your body.

A liver cleanse is designed to help the liver rid waste from your system. Fasting keeps your liver functioning at optimal capacity with organic acids needed present in cranberry, orange and lemon juice. Cranberries eliminate stubborn fat, oranges are rich in vitamin C, and lemons facilitate your metabolism. Liver cleansing will improve your overall health and considerably increase your entire body's performance.

Detox Juice Fast

The liver detox juice fast improves the state of your liver and colon while removing bloating, improving your energy and assisting you in losing unwanted weight. The liver detox juice contains the following ingredients:

1 cup unsweetened cranberry juice concentrate diluted with filtered water (pure, no sugar, corn syrup or other juices added)
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 tsp ground ginger
    1 tsp nutmeg
1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

Bring the cranberry juice to a light boil and reduce the heat to low. Place cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg into a tea ball and then add the cranberry juice. You can add the spices directly to the liquid. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes then cool to room temperature. Stir in the orange and lemon juices.

Make sure you drink at least an 8-ounce glass of liquid every hour. You don't have to begin at a specific time, just make sure to have 72 ounces of liquid by the end of the day.

The standard recommendation for liver detoxification is twice a year. If your liver is too full of waste, the toxins will remain in your blood and do damage to the rest of your body. According to the American Liver Foundation, the amount of toxins our body consumes has increased greatly, with resulting danger to the liver.
