How to Lose Weight With Salt & Water

The Master Cleanse technique claims to remove toxins from your body using a special diet regime. A big part of the Master Cleanse, the saltwater flush, involves preparing a special salt solution to drink every morning. The saltwater helps to remove poisonous substances in your body and sterilizes it. It encourages bowel movements, so you need to stay close to a bathroom for at least four hours after drinking the solution.

Instructions

    Pour one quart of filtered or spring water into a pot and heat until the water is lukewarm. Don't use tap water because it might introduce toxins into your body.

    Add 2 teaspoons of uniodized sea salt to the water and use a spoon to stir until the salt completely dissolves. Don't use iodized table salt because it contains more sodium.

    Add lemon juice to the salt solution if you wish to mask the salt flavor and make it easier to swallow.

    Pour the salt solution into a glass and drink it, refilling the glass as needed. Sip it slowly if you wish, but finish the entire quart within 15 minutes.

    Repeat the process for 10 days.
