How to Make Juice With a Victorio Strainer

How to Make Juice With a Victorio Strainer

The Victorio Strainer looks more like a meat grinder than a juicing machine, yet that does not mean the food mill is not up to the task of juicing. When processing the fruits or vegetables, the appliance separates the skins and seeds from the puree, turning the puree into nutritious fruit or vegetable juice. For the adventurous juicer, combine several types of puree to make juice. Add this to my Recipe Box.

Instructions

    1

Wash the fruit or vegetable thoroughly under running water. Remove any stems or citrus skins.

    2

Chop hard foods, such as carrots, into small pieces and steam until soft, before processing through the Victorio Strainer.

    3

Insert the Grape Spiral attachment, if processing grapes or the Berry Screen, if processing berries.

    4

Load the prepared produce at the top of the machine and turn the crank to process. Make sure your bowls are in their proper positions to collect the puree and waste.

    5

Add cold water to the puree, and seasoning if desire, to make juice. Gradually add the water, while stirring, until it reaches your desired consistency.
