Directions for the Miracle Lemonade Enzyme Diet

The Miracle Lemonade Enzyme Diet, otherwise known as the Master Cleanse, is a popular detoxification diet that also has significant weight loss results. The recipe is simple, but it is important to follow the recipe strictly. Because the grade of honey, the type of cayenne pepper and whether the water is distilled or not are all of the utmost importance in the final efficacy of the program, it is important that you don't cut corners. As with any cleansing plan or diet program especially a liquid fast, consult your physician before you start.

The Lemonade Enzyme Diet Grocery List

    You will need:
    Grade B Organic Maple Syrup
    Cayenne Pepper Powder (organic)
    Whole Organic Lemons
    Sea salt (Not iodized)
    Pure Filtered Water

Do not proceed with the diet if you cannot get the exact ingredients as stated, in its purest form or organic. Also you must not use concentrated lemon juice as it has added sugar and preservatives. Follow these instructions explicitly or it will not be an effective detoxifying diet.

Putting It Together

While on the lemonade diet, you must consume at least 60 oz of the concoction every day. You may drink more but not less. You should also drink lots of water. To make a single serving of the lemonade, combine in 10 oz. of filtered water, 2 tablespoons of the grade B syrup, a tenth of a teaspoon of Cayenne pepper powder and 2 tablespoons of the lemon juice. If you prefer to make the 60 oz. serving at one time, add 12 tablespoons of the syrup and lemon juice respectively to 60 oz. of filtered water. Lastly, add one half of a teaspoon of cayenne pepper powder to the mix.

Laxatives, Tea and Lemonade

During the initial detox process, you may want to try natural laxatives like drinking a teaspoon of non-iodized sea salt mixed with about 30 oz. of water. This will speed the elimination of toxic waste in your body. Allow an hour after the salt drink before you go out. It works efficiently. Also you can substitute herbal laxative teas for the salt mixture. In the beginning you may experience uncomfortable symptoms, such as mild headaches or breakouts, while detoxifying. Try to resist taking any medication because it will interfere with the cleansing process. If the headaches or symptoms become unbearable, this may not be the right diet for you. You should plan on being on the diet for no more than 10 days at a time. Also when coming off the diet, start slow with juices and broths. Again, it is important that you consult your physician before starting the diet.
