How to Eat After the Master Cleanse

The Master Cleanse, also known as the Lemonade Diet, is a diet that was introduced in the 1940s and has been used for decades to clear toxins from the digestive tract. It has recently regained popularity as a way to quickly shed unwanted pounds. During the length of the diet, you will drink only the specially prepared lemonade. However, after the diet has ended, you will want to carefully integrate different foods into your diet.

Instructions

    1

For the first day after the diet, continue to drink the lemonade mixture but add a glass of orange juice in the morning and evening, drinking it slowly.

    2

Drink some fresh vegetable broth in the evening or early afternoon on the second day. This should not be from a can and needs to be preservative-free. Continue to drink both the lemonade and orange juice.

    3

Drink the lemonade and orange juice for breakfast on the third and fourth days. Eat fresh fruit for lunch and raw vegetables or fresh fruits for dinner.

    4

Begin eating normally on the fifth day. For breakfast, consume the lemonade and orange juice along with some seeds and fresh fruit.

    5

Continue eating normal, solid foods if you feel no discomfort. If you experience gastrointestinal discomfort, start at day two and repeat the process.
