It has vitamins and minerals in it like Vitamin C, A, B1, B6, magnesium and potassium. It also has antioxidants in it like lycopene. It is also believed that it helps inflammation of the body.

    There are many different ways to eat watermelon on a watermelon diet. A person can eat it cut up, have it frozen, or even make it into a smoothie. It is important to keep lots of watermelon in the refrigerator. Also, a person may want to cut the watermelon into chunks for easier eating. Watermelon is made up of about 92 percent water so a person does not have to worry about getting dehydrated on a watermelon diet.

    Do not eat only watermelon on your watermelon diet, as it can be dangerous to the body. Have as much watermelon on your watermelon diet that you want to, but make sure you also add other nutritious healthy food, too. Make sure that your watermelon rind is ripe enough to eat. The watermelon rind should be mostly green in color.
