Homemade Strawberry Popsicles

Homemade Strawberry Popsicles

Many commercial Popsicles are loaded with sugar and high fructose corn syrup. You can make healthier homemade strawberry Popsicles at home using fresh strawberries and a fraction of the sugar. Kids will love the natural sweetness of the strawberries. This recipe makes six to eight Popsicles, depending on the size of your molds. This is a simple way to make a healthy, tasty treat. Add this to my Recipe Box.

Instructions

    1

Wash the strawberries under cool water. Dry them on a paper towel.

    2

Cut the petals off the tops of the strawberries with a sharp knife.

    3

Place the strawberries into a blender. Add one cup of milk into the bender and one teaspoon sugar. Blend the strawberry and milk mixture on a high setting and puree setting until smooth.

    4

Pour the mixture into Popsicle molds. Set the mold in the freezer. Let the Popsicles set up overnight.

    5

Remove the Popsicles as needed by setting the bottom of the Popsicle mold into warm water until the Popsicle releases.
