How to Make a Cherry Limeade Cocktail

A cocktail consists of liquor, water, juice, sugar and whatever else you wish to add to the mix. People often make their own at home using homemade recipes. If you are looking for something new to try, consider taking a classic drink favorite and making it into a cocktail. It's a creative way to combine the old with the new. Add this to my Recipe Box.

Pour the 11 oz. bottle of malt beverage into a shaker. The malt beverage should not be flavored.

Pour in the 1 oz. of vodka. Use a high quality vodka for the best-tasting cocktail. A high quality vodka will be smooth going down.

Add the cherry syrup, lime juice and ice to the shaker. Cherry syrup can be found in any store. If the syrup is too thick, thin it with water. Use lime juice from freshly squeezed limes.

Secure the lid of the shaker and vigorously shake for about 30 seconds. Remove the lid and pour the drink into a cocktail glass.

Make a slice in the side of the cherry. Slide the cherry onto the side of the cocktail glass. Place the stirrer in the glass and enjoy your cherry limeade cocktail.
