How to Mix Vodka & Lemonade

Vodka and lemonade are two key drink ingredients that can make delicious punches and cocktails. A cocktail shaker is used to combine the two drinks and many other cocktails and mixed beverages. This is because shaking the lemonade and vodka in a cocktail shaker will mix them more thoroughly than if they were just stirred. Add this to my Recipe Box.

Instructions

Measure the Vodka and Lemonade

Measure 1.5 oz. of your selected vodka in your measuring jug. Pour the vodka into this jug until it is resting on the correct measurement line of 1.5 oz. Pour measured vodka into the shaker.

Measure 5 oz. of the lemonade. Pour the lemonade into the jug. If the jug does not have a measurement up to 5 oz., measure 1oz 5 times and pour each measurement into the shaker.

Place the lid on the shaker. Shake vigourously ensuring the mixture is totally combined.

Place ice into tumbler. Pour mixture out of the shaker into tumbler add selected garnish and serve.
