How to Make Limeade From Lime Concentrate

How to Make Limeade From Lime Concentrate

Make a simple batch of limeade using a can of lime concentrate and a few other tasty ingredients. Limeade is similar to lemonade but has a tropical twist. Serve homemade limeade during warm summer picnics, birthday bashes and beach- and island-inspired parties. Plain limeade will treat your taste buds to a sweet-and-sour explosion of flavor, but adding other fresh ingredients, such as strawberries, further enhances the refreshing drink. Making the limeade from concentrate allows you spend more time in the summer sun and less in the kitchen. Add this to my Recipe Box.

Instructions

    1

Pour 1/2 cup of reconstituted lime juice concentrate into a blender.

    2

Add 2 cups of cold water or lemon-lime soda, depending on whether you want carbonation or not, 1/4 of a cup of sugar, 2 cups of fresh or frozen strawberries and five ice cubes to the blender.

    3

Blend the mixture on "high" until it's smooth.

    4

Pour the limeade into glasses and garnish each one with a lime wedge. Serve the limeade immediately.
